on birthdays...

Today is my birthday.   I've had A LOT of them.

The year that I turned 40, I wanted to pretend that it didn't happen....like Nov 14th was just another day.  This year, celebrating my "29th" birthday, seems so surreal.

This morning as I woke up early, I realized that I don't get excited for them any longer like I did when I was young.  After all, my adorable "little" has a birthday in just 3 days....and that is my focus.
